1. For what PMI® certification programs for which Tutor Conflux offers training?
Tutor Conflux offers training to professionals who aspire to acquire certification/ credentials offered by PMI®. Tutor Conflux imparts the required training that helps appear confidently for the exam for the following PMI® certification programs.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® Credential.

2. Is the training mandatory? I mean can’t I take the certification exam right away?
The training is mandatory. You cannot take the exam without first undergoing 35 contact hours of formal education in Project Management stipulated by PMI®. The mandatory training is provided by PMI® and numerous other authorized education providers including Tutor Conflux across the globe.
3. What are the training programs available at Tutor Conflux?

Tutor Conflux offers the following modes of training for CAPM® Expedition, PMP® Expedition and RMP® Expedition programs.
Instructor-led Online Training
The structure of this training class typically consists of 4
weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with 4.5 hours duration.
Instructor-led class room training
The structure of this training class typically consists of 2
weekends with full day training with total duration of 40
hours.

5. How does online PMP® Expedition training work?

- Step 2: Get access to the user credentials.
- Step 3: Get the Study plan and the PMP® Expedition schedule.
- Step 4: Get WebEx webinar invitation before the commencement of every class
- Step 5: Attend the WebEx webinar from your internet enabled computer and headsets You can use the telephone to listen to the audio portion of the class.
6. Who are the people providing PMP® certification and what is the PMI®?
PMI® (Project Management Institute) provides the PMP® credentials. PMI® was founded in 1969 and today it has more than 260,000 members in over 171 countries.

7. Do I need to join the PMI® in order to become certified as a PMP®?
No, you need not. If you are working in the project management field, or have done so in a previous capacity you are eligible
to become a PMP®. Membership in the PMI® is not a prerequisite to becoming PMP® certified.

This book is published by the PMI® (Project Management Institute®) and the PMP® certification exam is based on the PMBOK® Guide . PMI® will provide you the PDF version of the PMBOK® Guide if you register yourself at www.pmi.org.
9. What is Application Audit? Please explain the process.
- The submission of an application indicates an agreement to comply with PMI®'s audit terms. Please note that all eligible applications are subject to an audit. Candidates whose applications have been selected for an audit will be notified after the electronic eligibility notification letter is issued and payment of the exam fee is remitted. Candidates are permitted to take the examination after successful completion of an audit.
- The electronic audit notification provides detailed information on how to comply with the terms of the audit. This information is also available through the web-based Certification System.
- During an audit, candidates will be asked to submit supporting documentation, such as copies of their diploma/global equivalent, signatures of their supervisor(s) or manager(s) from the project(s) documented on the Experience Verification Forms, and copies of certificates or letters from the training institute(s) for each course submitted to meet the required 35 contact hours of project management education.
- Applicants who fail to meet audit requirements will receive a refund less a processing fee of $100 [US].
- Please be advised that while the selection process for an audit is primarily random, PMI® reserves the right to select any candidate to be audited at any time, including after the credential has been bestowed.
10. Do I have to be a Project Manager to do the Training Course and Exam?
Project Management Professional (PMP®)
If you hold a bachelors degree:
Minimum of three years professional project management
experience
4,500 hours direct project management (leading & directing
project tasks)
Without a bachelor’s degree:
Minimum of five years professional project management
experience
7,500 hours direct project management (leading & directing
project tasks)
Applicants must also have a certain amount of Project
Management education:
35 hours of specific project management education
Adhere to PMI® code of Ethics and Professional conduct
Qualify in a four hour/200 question multiple choice type examination
that tests your ability in project management.
